What does it cost to visit the Bucharest Thermal Spa ?

The Therme Bucharest is divided into three different zones.

The Galaxy Zone, The Palm Zone and Elysium and each of them has their own vibe and appeal to different people and families.

Tickets for the thermal spa depends on which zones you want access to and for how long.

You can choose to pay for access to one zone, two zones or pay for full access to every zone.

Ordinarily, we would give a full breakdown as to how much it would cost to buy a ticket for each variable option but………we are going to strongly recommend you buy access for ALL zones as the price for full access to every zone for a FULL day is approximately £ 35 for a single adult whilst if you only wanted access to the Galaxy Zone then it would cost you £ 9 less. It’s really not a massive difference and with access to all areas you are free to choose where you spend your time.

The full day option, as opposed to the three hour or four and a half hour option, is by far the best selection to make. For £ 35 per adult you can spend as long as you want.

What is the pricing like for families?

There is no age limit for the Galazy Zone so they are happy to accommodate children of any age (and adults too!).

Kids under three years old go free whilst children from three years to fourteen years old pay junior ticket prices. The Thermal Spa in Bucharest consider “children” to be between the ages of 3 to 14. Ticket prices for a single junior are about £ 23 for a full day pass to the Galaxy Zone.

It is important to know that there are minimum age limit of 14 for the other two zones, Palm Zone and Elysium. This means that if youDue to the sheer scale of this place then planning and preparing your visit is key as it is so easy to get overwhelmed when you arrive and then miss out on something you really wanted to do, for example, sample one of the many spa treatments.

So maybe, to begin with, it’s a good idea to understand the cost of Bucharest Thermal Spa tickets. Thankfully, they are priced very reasonably but it’s good to know what kind of prices to expect for admission, for drinks, treatments etc.

For this reason, we would strongly recommend jumping to our dedicated page on pricing where you can find the finer details on how much does it cost to go to the Therme spa in Bucharest, how much does a towel cost and whether people think that a visit to the Therme Bucharest is worth it.

Is everything included in the price ?

Unfortunately not.

The ticket price you pay only gives you access to the zones you wish to visit and obviously the restaurants and bars too. This is NOT an all inclusive resort.

Access to the wellness areas are free so this could be, for example, one of the saunas, mineral pools or the infrared beds.

This place does get very busy so expect to queue for many of these areas.

The treatments, or activities, as Bucharest Thermal Spa prefer to call them, are additional costs and are limited in numbers. You cannot reserve treatments online so you have to queue at reception and hope there are spaces for you to book.

Flip flops are compulsory attire but you can bring your own, as long as you do not wear them outside the spa before you enter. You can also rent them from the spa for around £ 4.

You can also bring your own towels or hire towels from reception, again for around £ 4.

Does the Bucharest Thermal Spa have it’s own hotel?

Unfortunately not. Despite it’s size the thermal spa in Bucharest doesn’t have an on site hotel.

However, there are plenty of great hotels nearby if you wanted to stay near to the Therme and the spa even has it’s own recommend partner hotels.

Unless you intend to visit the thermal spa every day then a taxi ride from Bucharest city centre would take you about 40 minutes during oeak traffic.

Bucharest Thermal spa

Three Zones – Three Experiences

Galaxy, The Palm and Elysium are the three zones which the Bucharest thermal spa is based around. Each zone has been carefully designed to provide a different experience to the others and to keep each vibe totally separate.

Galaxy Zone

The Galaxy zone is all about fun and frolics for the entire family.  Loads of water slides to keep everyone entertained and a wave pool that mimics the sea. It is a great family day out.

The Palm Zone

Pool bars, mineral pools and maybe the largest urban outdoor beach in Europe. The Palm zone offers an oasis of calm and relaxation thanks to it’s minimum age limits of 14.

Elysium

Elysium is the place to treat your mind and body. This zone focuses on state of the art treatments to pamper and relax a tired body.
